Create Ads from your Photos

Sometimes, when you take a picture just for the fun, you may capture an element which can become important in your graphic work. The below example shows the development of a very mediocre picture to a very nice ad.

Of course YorgoMan loves Hot Wheels and all the donkeys under the hood of this Morgan:

Passing through some Black and White filters and adding a touch of sepia in Lightroom, you get this:

A touch of blue to allow for a somewhat grungy feel and then the decision about which part of the image you want to use. Asking YorgoMan, he opts for this direction:

For the sake of the ad I plan to design, I opt for this, the difference being the focus of the gradient and color overlay in Photoshop:

Some fine-tuning, toning and typography and your ad can be submitted to Gene for approval :-).
