New WP Blog Hosting Servers
It just seems to be a yearly issue: WordPress requires more resources and as WordPress based sites get busier and more sophisticated we need to increase the hosting resources. This year two of our server clusters are particularly under fire:
- Hosting South Africa
- YorgoBiz (Author Sites)
Hosting South Africa
Hosting South Africa has been set up to host professional websites for commercial customers. These sites have rapidly reached interesting traffic levels and some of the sites have grown dramatically within a short time. We need to increase capacity. While migrating sites to new hosting is not a big issue, co.za domains would need to reconfigure the DNS settings since we would acquire new IP addresses for the new host.
We are evaluating the cost factor and will inform about eventual changes of pricing as the case may be.
YorgoBiz
In spite the fact that this is a sophisticated server set up we have acquired just about 6 months ago, we are reaching the limit. This is namely due to some author blogs which have become much busier as well as to the WordPress and related scripts which require more server resources.
We are considering moving all accounts to a new hosting environment; at present we are evaluating cost and offers we are getting in.
More information to follow shortly.
