Chalets at Victoria Bay

Each of the chalets at Victoria Bay Lodge has its own carport and barbecue. From the balcony you can admire the beautiful Outeniqua mountain range and observe the changeable colours, especially during the early morning and late afternoon. The resort has a large under roof “Lapa” where guests can socialize and braai. There are also a fully equipped Laundromat and ironing facilities and a public telephone. For relaxation enjoy a game of Putt-Putt, Table-tennis or Darts.

Reptile and Bird Park, George

You will find us driving from George to Wilderness just before the Victoria Bay turn-off on the right hand side of the road. The Victoria Heights Reptile and Bird Park is located just outside of George on route to Victoria Bay in the Garden Route. (On the N2 only 2km from the Garden Route Mall)

The Reptile Park houses a large variety of reptiles in their natural habitats. Amongst the reptile there are Anacondas of more than 5 meters long, Cobras, Rattle Snakes, Bullfrogs, \”Boomslange\” and leguans. Too much delight of young and old the Reptile Park is also home to a talking crow, small birds, monkeys and farm animals in like goats and rabbits and more in the touch farm!

Bird Park George

Exotic bird species like Knysna Loerie, and more than 50 species of doves, and a variety of Swans, Geese, Ducks, Sparrows and many more species can be seen. The owner of the Park has been breeding Show Poultry for the past 32 years. A number of South African Champions was bred by him and many of these are also residents of the Bird Park.

Super Tube in George, South Africa

At 8,5 meters high the Super Tube is one of the highest in South Africa. This is 2, 5 meters higher than the standard Super Tube! The Super Tube and picnic area is perfect for those hot days! Picnic tables and umbrellas are placed around the Super Tube. Braai facilities available! Open 7 days a week from 9:30 to 17:00
