YN — Working from Home News by YORGOO Publishing made it and joined the Big Boys such as CNN, BBC, ABC News and the venerable New York Times on top of Google amongst 451,000,000 search results. Our post is featured on rank 5 just after the 4 aforementioned mega sites.

Working from home has grown exponentially in the USA: the Bureau of Census reports that the nation added nearly 4 million one-person businesses between 2000 and 2005. Many of these businesses are created by telecommuters.

While Work from Home was originally based on the idea to provide Moms with a part time job to contribute to the family’s income, it has become the preferred working atmosphere of a new generation. Surprisingly online co-working tools are not very popular mainly amongst the young; price is the main handicap.

Why are there no ads on YORGOO Publishing, you may ask?

There are multiple reasons: first because YORGOO Publishing is content focused. The second reason is that YORGOO Publishing has been built by an independent publisher and editor who wants to demonstrate and keep it’s complete freedom and independence. The absence of contextual ads namely inspires more confidence and trust when building a brand.

But there is one more important reason: the right advertiser has not yet come across. YORGOO Publishing does not seek advertisers but is open to proposals. So far proposals reaching to as much as $5000 per month have been turned down because it was felt that the ads were not in line with the Spirit and Policy of the publication: such ads include the typical work from home ads namely placed by MLM and other Networks.

Photoshop Ycademy

When 10 days ago we started the Photoshop Ycademy for YORGOO and Ycademy members, the program outline looked like a huge task. Today we see, how much can be accomplished within little time by ordinary people making extraordinary efforts. Tonight’s training will be a clean up session to finish up with some basics and the implementation of more action scripts, namely to accomplish more day to day tasks.

While we have shared with participants some impressive actions, we are preparing two Photoshop Packs containing some interesting stuff I have on my computer and which I find useful for professional use of Photoshop.
