Working Online Moms are On Line
Zo Nicholas offers excellent Web Design and Support Services Online while currently being a “Working Online Mom” – meaning, she’s pretty much “a mom on line”! Many lines in fact… and there is quite a story I will be telling later. . . :)
Whether granny or mom is completely irrelevant: once you have an inquisitive and highly energetic toddler around nothing is safe… your work from home environment becomes a magic center of attraction – I mean like there’s nothing else on earth… especially if there’s anything flashing, moving, mooing or much worse: another humanoid interfering with your child’s most cherished personal possession: YOU! Therefore, rights have to be enforced explicitly now and then, loud and clear: “”I want MMMMMMy Mommmmm!” That’s pronto! Here and… NOW!
Well, these early years zoom past fast – and the little people with their needs must be embraced before the attention goes back to the screen! It will change soon enough again… so, for the moment, Master Oliver is the Boss – although I rather would see him as a Little Prince… and the magnificent advantage here is that as a Working From Home Mom you are part of your child’s or grand-child’s life: a huge privilege I wish to each and every parent… and a joy to live a tiny bit as an online aunt with special visitors like Mickey Mouse, Flower Fairies, whiskered Cats and a zoo-full of African voices!
