Thanksgiving Blues
While our friends in the United States were celebrating Thanksgiving yesterday, I received a sort of “Thanksgiving Blues” gift in different shapes and forms.
What a surprise to go out into my garden in Noordhoek, South Africa, on that glorious day and see – suddenly and literally out of the blue – one side of my lawn covered with dainty blue flowers as you see on the quick digital photo here . . . with majestic Chapman’s Peak puffing a whizz of white clouds into the blue skies:

Each digital photo we take can mean the beginning to a creative journey!
Having Adobe Photoshop offers us a large playground to take an image and turn it into something different, using simply what we find in there in terms of tools and filters.
Here’s a first essay: something conventional, romantic… and apt for Thanksgiving… derived from the above picture.
But why not take it abstract… get into textures, patterns, monochromatic tints… see textile design in the making:
Website Development
It’s during such playful moments, experiments and adventures that we not only keep our creative muscles in shape but we often discover useful avenues and subtle effects that may serve a totally different purpose in a different project in our Website Development, in time to come. What then seems to be imagination “out of the blue” means remembering something we did, that surprised us and that we kept for future implementation.
We are well advised to keep ‘exercising’ and building a precious collection of Personalized Web Design.
And besides, let there be a little “Thanks Giving” each day :)
