The “Plantjie Kwekery” Nursery on the Airport Road just outside George became well-known for their wide selection of indoor & outdoor plants and seedlings over the years. The “Plantjie Kwekery” also stock water features, pots and other concrete products as well as other gardening tools.
Animal Touch Farm in the Garden Route
The “Plantjie Kwekery” Nursery now also offers a relaxing Tea Garden, as well as Animal Touch and Play Farm. Here both parents and children can relax in the Garden Route country side atmosphere with the Outeniqua Mountains in the background.
Animal Touch Farm near George
Children (and parents) are welcome to visit the Animal Touch Farm near George. Here you will meet “Blommie” the resident donkey, chickens, potbelly pigs, rabbits, sheep, goats and other farm animals. Entrance is free – feeding packets can be bought from the Tea Garden.
Kiddies Parties near George
The Play area offers a jumping castle, bumper boats and ample space to run a round and play. A minimal fee is charged for use of the bumper boats. An indoor play room with table tennis and other activities is also available. Kiddies parties and school groups are welcome! Contact us for available or tailor made packages!
