The “Plantjie Kwekery” Nursery on the Airport Road just outside George became well-known for their wide selection of indoor & outdoor plants and seedlings over the years. The “Plantjie Kwekery” also stock water features, pots and other concrete products as well as other gardening tools.
Tea Garden and Touch farm at Plantjie Kwekery NurseryThe “Plantjie Kwekery” Nursery now also offer a relaxing Tea Garden as well as Animal Touch and Play Farm. Here both parents and children can relax in the country side atmosphere with the Outeniqua Mountains in the background. The Tea Garden offers a selection of cakes, scones, hamburgers, hotdogs and other light meals. The Tea Garden is licensed – wines and malts can be ordered with your meals. Kiddies menu available. Children (and parents) are welcome to visit the Animal Touch Farm. Here you will meet “Blommie” the resident donkey, chickens, potbelly pigs, rabbits, sheep, goats and other farm animals. Entrance is free – feeding packets can be bought from the Tea Garden.
Kiddies Parties at Plantjie Kwekery in GeorgeThe Play area offers a jumping castle, bumper boats and ample space to run a round and play. A minimal fee is charged for use of the bumper boats. An indoor play room is also available. Kiddies parties and school groups are welcome! Contact us for available or tailor made packages!
